For instance, Dr. Gordon is the only cosmetic dentist in Kansas City who uses a surgical microscope to perform all dental treatments.

• Intraoral Cameras allow us to take pictures inside your mouth and show you our findings as we explain our treatment plans.
• Digital Photography can illustrate specific areas of interest and allow us to keep track of your transformation.
• Panorex Digital X-Rays provides highly detailed, two-dimensional images that allow Dr. Gordon to detect issues not easily seen in strictly visual exam.
• Air Abrasion is an innovative replacement of the traditional dental drill and allows us to conserve more of your natural tooth structure and reduce enamel micro-fractures.
• DIAGNOdent is a non-abrasive laser scanner that detects areas of decay and allows us to treat cavities earlier more effectively.
• CEREC technology allows us to design, color-match, mill, and place porcelain crowns in a single appointment.
• Lasers offer a minimally invasive alternative to traditional scalpel incisions and are ideal for oral surgery, hardening of dental materials, scanning teeth for decay, destroying decay and prepping teeth for fillings, and activating whitening gel.
• Microscopes allow Dr. Gordon to magnify teeth several times for increased precision and accuracy during diagnosis and treatment.
