CEREC One-Visit Crowns

Traditionally, a crown requires at least two appointments—one to prepare the tooth and place a temporary crown and a second for placement of the permanent crown. Getting a damaged or decayed tooth crowned is extremely important, and you shouldn’t put it off. In many cases, a crown can save a tooth we might otherwise need to extract and replace with an implant. The more natural teeth we can preserve for our patients, the better.

How Does CEREC Work?

First Dr. Gordon will take a 3D image of your tooth. Then we use our CEREC machine to mill your permanent crown, which takes just about an hour. Then he will permanently place your all-porcelain, color-matched crown. This means you will return home with a full, healthy smile after only one visit.
